Meet SYMBO A1: The Robot That Maps the World for Other Robots

The SYMBO A1 from Robotic Data is the world's first fully autonomous city-scale mapping robot. This isn't just any robot — it creates the data that powers other robots.

Combining 3D LiDAR and high-resolution imagery, the SYMBO A1 captures ultra-detailed, real-world data with unmatched efficiency, delivering the fastest and most consistent way to achieve continuous, high-quality coverage of entire cities.

Built for Physical AI and Large World Models (LWMs), it forms the backbone of next-generation autonomous systems, giving machines the rich spatial understanding they need to operate safely and intelligently.

Voxelmaps Reality Capture Network: Mapping San Jose in 3D (LiDAR, Voxels & Gaussian Splats)

Voxelmaps is deploying its Reality Capture Network across cities in the United States, beginning with San Jose. Our mobile mapping sensors continuously collect high-resolution multimodal data including LiDAR, imagery, and video to create detailed digital representations of the real world.

This video showcases the capture and processing of urban environments into high-resolution point clouds, voxelized spatial data, and advanced 3D Gaussian Splats (3DGS). The resulting datasets help power next-generation world models, robotics, autonomous systems, and large-scale digital twins.

Voxelmaps' distributed sensor network is designed to continuously map cities, providing dynamic, high-fidelity spatial data for AI training, robotics, and intelligent infrastructure.
